The Michigan Wolverines might not have had all that incredible of a season, which was hard to see just one year removed from a National Championship victory.

With Jim Harbaugh coaching on Sunday, the program was set to take a step backward. Sherrone Moore took over at the helm and led the Wolverines to a seven-win season, though their most recent victory might be the most impressive.

Despite being in his first season as the team's head coach, Moore secured a big win over Ohio State and Ryan Day, who was the No. 2-ranked team in the nation entering the rivalry matchup.

A win over a program like Ohio State is one that can spark offseason momentum and bleed into the next season. Michigan could be building for 2025.

Not only did Michigan secure a momentum-sealing win, but they also have the No. 1 quarterback on his way to Ann Arbor to join the program next season.

Bryce Underwood recently flipped his commitment from LSU to play for Michigan, his hometown team.

Not only did Michigan secure a big win on the field against the Buckeyes, but Moore proved he can recruit (and the Wolverines can open the checkbook), which is equally as important in his role.

How did Moore celebrate after finding out they flipped Underwood? He revealed such to the Big Ten Network recently.

"I threw water in the air. I ran down the hallway, yelling as loud as possible," Moore shared. "I mean, I was elated, I was ecstatic, and the need and want to have, not only the best player in the country, but the best player in the state of Michigan, that was a huge emphasis."

Michigan's lack of quarterback play in 2024 was glaring, yet they managed seven wins and now have a long-term solution under center to build around.

Moore continues to stack wins and build confidence in Ann Arbor as the Wolverines seem to be on their way back up.
