California lawmakers on Thursday introduced a sweeping set of proposals to quickly build more homes and experts say one of them could be a game-changer in the state's housing crisis. California continues to face a shortfall of millions of homes, and that shortfall has translated to the state's high cost of living and homelessness problem. State lawmakers rolled out about 20 bills on Thursday they said will help tackle the issues.
