BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) -- According to Kern County Public Works (KCPW), six roads in Kern County will close overnight for construction until December 7.

KCPW said striping of the roads will affect drivers on the following days and areas:

Tuesday, December 3 - December 7, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

Wednesday, December 4 - December 7 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

Thursday, December 5 - December 7 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

The lanes will be closed until the project is finished. Drivers are advised to plan their morning commutes accordingly.
