"Total network outage" reportedly caused AMC Shiloh closure

UPDATE. December 4 at 12:30 p.m.

The AMC Theater in Shiloh Crossing has been closed due to a "total network outage."

According to Ryan Noonan, with AMC, the outage was not a wi-fi issue, but the total network outage prevented theatre operations.

The issue has now been resolved, according to Noonan and the theatre is expected to reopen this afternoon.

Original coverage on December 2 at 4:37 p.m.

The AMC Theater in Shiloh Crossing has temporarily closed due to an internet outage.

A sign posted to the theater's doors and a note on their website indicates the closure is only temporary.

We are working to learn more about what the internet outage means and why it has forced the closure of the theater.

AMC Classic 10 near Rimrock Mall remains open, along with Arthouse Cinema and Babcock Theater in Downtown.
