Donations to the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare help shelter pets like these kittens find forever homes.+
Established in 1935, the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare has been at the heart of our community's efforts to care for homeless and neglected pets for over 85 years. As a private, nonprofit organization operating under IRS Section 501(c)(3), we are dedicated to rescuing, rehoming and advocating for the well-being of animals who need us the most. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to improve the lives of neglected and abused companion animals by providing them with loving homes, and offering affordable veterinary care to pet owners.
Our impact is measured in the thousands of pets whose lives we've changed. Every year, we find loving homes for over 95% of the animals who come through our doors. This remarkable achievement is only possible thanks to the hard work of our dedicated staff and volunteers and the generosity of animal lovers like you.
We receive no regular funding from the state, federal agencies, or even the ASPCA -- an entirely separate entity. Instead, we rely entirely on local donations and the support of our community. From the funds raised at events and through our Thrift Store and Veterinary Care Center to the individual contributions that come in every day, every dollar helps us continue our life-saving work.
This Giving Tuesday, you have the opportunity to make an even greater impact. Donations can be made online at LetLoveLive.org/donate, where you can choose to give a one-time gift, become a monthly donor or even make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one. Your support will go directly to helping animals right here in our local community.
In addition to monetary gifts, we also accept donations of pet supplies, food, and cleaning materials, which can be purchased through our Amazon and Chewy wish lists, available on our website. Whether it's financial support or in-kind donations, your contribution means the world to the animals in our care.
By giving to the SPCA Albrecht Center, you are not only helping animals find homes but also joining a community of compassionate individuals committed to making a difference. Together, we can create a world where every animal is valued and loved.
Thank you for sharing this vision with us.
