SOUTH BELOIT - The South Beloit City Council recently adopted another balanced budget for the city, but city officials say revenue streams are beginning to run a bit thinner for the new year.

"I am always proud when we adopt a balanced budget and we live within our means," said South Beloit City Administrator Sonya Hoppes. But, she added, "There's no doubt we are in a season of slowdown - 2025 is not as flush (with revenue) as the last three years."
