Negotiations surrounding a trade between the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns involving Jimmy Butler and Bradley Beal are ongoing, according to Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic.

"As for Bradley Beal, sources informed The Republic there still are conversations about a deal with the Miami Heat involving Jimmy Butler," Rankin wrote on Tuesday.

ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Dec. 17 that the Suns were one of the teams on top of Butler's list of preferred destinations if the Heat chose to trade him prior to the Feb. 6 deadline.
