In just a few hours Netflix will test its live sports capabilities in a major way for the first time since its struggles broadcasting the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.
While Netflix claims it hit a streaming record with the fight, fans were left wondering what was happening as the stream failed to work - at least for a little while. Now, on Christmas Day, the streaming platform will welcome millions of fans who hope to tune into two NFL games.
First up the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Kansas City Chiefs, who can lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff race with a win on Wednesday. Not long later, the Baltimore Ravens will face off against the Houston Texans as Lamar Jackson and company look to regain the AFC North lead - in the event of a Steelers loss, of course.
Ahead of the action on Netflix, the streaming platform made a major move with its broadcasting teams. Everyone from Robert Griffin III to NFL insider Ian Rapoport to Kay Adams - along with many others - will be involved in the broadcast.
The latter recently took a trip to New York City and gushed about her "first love" where she used to work.
"one last 2024 trip to my first love ," she said in the caption of the post.

Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was one of the many who rushed to the comments section to react to the photos.
