If you are like me, over the past few weeks, you have been engaging in everything that you can with Christmas. This includes putting up your tree, wrapping presents, and getting decorations up inside and outside of your house.

However, there is one Christmas tradition that is steeped in history. It is the history of Santa Claus, otherwise known as St. Nicholas or Kris Kringle. There are a lot of questions, myths and even one's own family stories that surround this figure who stands out as the spokesperson of Christmas.
