All officers are OK after a crash into two Cincinnati Police Department vehicles shut down southbound Interstate 75 overnight, police say.
It happened just inside the city limits near the Paddock Road exit at 11:57 p.m. Sunday, according to Hamilton County dispatchers and police.
Officers were already on the scene when their cruisers were struck, District 4 police said.
Minor injuries were reported to the officers, according to Officer Ken Kober, president of the union that represents Cincinnati police.
The officers were taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center "out of an abundance of caution," police said.
The condition of the other driver was not immediately available.
Springfield Township police took the crash report but have not released any updates.
