PHOENIX (AZFamily) -- A driver is being charged after firing gunshots on Valley freeways late Christmas Eve.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
The incident began just before midnight when the Arizona Department of Public Safety received reports of the driver of a black Chevrolet Tahoe shooting out of the vehicle's window on I-10 near 24th Street in Phoenix.
The 911 caller followed the Tahoe at a safe distance to update DPS troopers on the vehicle's location.
Troopers were able to catch up with the Tahoe on I-17 near Thomas Road.
DPS said the driver was arrested without incident and booked into Maricopa County jail. The driver has not yet been identified.
No injuries were reported to DPS or Phoenix Police from the reported shots fired on the freeway.
