About a month after Nebraska Cornhuskers' Malachi Coleman announced he intended to enter the transfer portal, the wide receiver announced he has committed to the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Coleman made the announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound receiver contributed for the Huskers in his first collegiate season in 2023, snagging eight catches for 139 yards and a touchdown in 11 games. He only played one game in 2024 as he dropped on Nebraska's depth chart.

Coleman initially committed to the Huskers football program when Mickey Joseph was the interim head coach and de-committed following the coaching change, but Matt Rhule brought him back for this past season before he ultimately left through the transfer portal.
The Lincoln native initially picked Big Red over Colorado during his recruitment, according to On3 Sports. He's ranked as the 40th-best receiver in the portal heading into next season.
