SERGEANT BLUFF, Ia (KCAU) - A local motorcycle safety group helped brighten the day for residents at a Sergeant Bluff nursing home.
"A Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education" or A.B.A.T.E, District 20 delivered over 160 gifts to residents of Embassy Rehab and Care Center in Sergent Bluff.
The group was approached by a worker from the nursing home to help get gifts for the residents. A.B.A.T.E didn't hesitate to help out.
"It gives you goose bumps. Even the feelings you got when we laid out at our last meeting on the table and everyone picked one out. This is great. There were no thoughts, no second thoughts on anyone's part." Said Jeff Pope, Public Relations for A.B.A.T.E of Iowa, District 20
This is the first year A.B.A.T.E. did this and they are already making plans to do it again next Christmas.
