The Huntsville Police Department is working jointly with other agencies to survey and collect evidence surrounding the disappearance of a Huntsville real estate agent, Ronald Dumas Jr.

Police say a report was filed with them on Tuesday for Dumas being missing. According to the report, he was last heard from over the phone about 10 p.m. on Dec. 15. Information in the report states it sounded like he was out with other people when he was on that phone call.

On Monday, Tennessee Highway Patrol had found his vehicle on the side of Interstate 40, which was then impounded. Police say the vehicle was not occupied at the time of impoundment.

Police have spoken to several people who are close to Dumas, but they say none of them were with him on Dec. 15.

Police specify they have no evidence at this time that he was or is in danger, but they do find his disappearance to be strange and are currently trying to locate him.
