An urgent search is underway for a missing 85-year-old Yorkshire man, Les, after he left his home.

Officers in North Yorkshire are searching for a missing Leslie Davis (known as Les).

Enquiries have confirmed he left his home on the morning of Thursday, December 19, and has not been seen since.

Les is described as 5ft 4ins tall, of small build, with short white/grey hair. He normally wears a baseball cap and carries a small rucksack.

Police say they are "very concerned for his welfare."
