(WJW) - 'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the land, people hoped to find a winning ticket in hand.

Mega Millions just revealed the winning numbers for its massive $1 billion jackpot on Christmas Eve. There's also a $448.8 million cash option up for grabs.

The winning numbers are: 11, 14, 38, 45, 46 and Mega Ball 3. The Megaplier is 3X.

If won, it will be the largest prize ever claimed in the month of December.

It's also the seventh largest Mega Millions jackpot in the lottery game's history.
