BRIDGETON -- A 22-year-old city man was arrested with a gun early Tuesday morning, police said.

David Stevens was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a large-capacity magazine. He was sent to the Cumberland County jail.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Nichols Street at 2:42 a.m. for a report of a subject in possession of a handgun and found Stevens, police said in a news release.
