The southwestern chicken chain is rolling out double protein bowls.

It's coming out in time for New Year's, when millions take a renewed -- if brief -- interest in fitness.

The chain is offering what it calls "Double Pollo Fit Bowls."

They come in two flavors.

One is the "Classic" Fit Bowl, which is essentially a salad bowl with two portions of grilled chicken.

The company says it's made of a "Super Greens blend" with spinach and lettuce and citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken breast.

It also comes with sliced avocado, red cabbage, carrots, queso, pepitas, and salsa.

It is served with creamy cilantro dressing.

The other is the Street Corn Double Pollo Fit Bowl, which is similar but takes inspiration from a classic Mexican dish.

They are advertised as containing 50+ grams of protein.

"Our Double Pollo Fit Bowls are the perfect option when you're craving bold, delicious flavors but don't want to compromise your goals," Jill Adams, Chief Marketing Officer at the chain said in a press release.

"Whether you're looking to specifically increase your protein intake or get a head start on healthy eating habits for the new year, we've got you covered," she added.

The company announced on December 12 that they would be available for a limited time.

The promotion will end on February 19.
