MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) - Police are searching for four men who ripped out an ATM and stole its cash box on Sunday morning.
This incident took place at a Valero Gas Store on Cook Ave.
Police said the suspects fled prior to officers' arrival.
Video surveillance showed a green 2008 Honda CRV-EX pull up to the front of the business.
According to police, the suspects smashed the front window, attached a chain to their car, wrapped it around the ATM, and proceeded to pull the machine out.
The ATM came apart and the men took the cash box and fled.
Police said a BOLO was put out and they believe this same car tried to steal another ATM in Branford shortly after.
