OKANOGAN, Wash. - A water main break in Okanogan has led to a boil water advisory for residents.

The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. The break occurred Sunday night at the intersection of Second Avenue and Queen Street, according to Okanogan County Emergency Management.

This incident could result in dirty water for city residents throughout the night.

Residents in Okanogan are advised to remove the screens from their faucets and avoid drinking tap water.
