The Grove City Women's Club will present its biennial political rally at 7 p.m., Thursday, on Oct. 2 in the Grove City Community Center on U.S. Highway 12. The public is invited to attend.

Candidates have been invited to tell the audience of their political stands and to answer questions from the audience. Speakers will include candidates for the positions of Grove City mayor and city council members, as well as candidates for the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City School Board. All candidates running for Meeker County offices have been invited. Legislative candidates for House District 18A will also speak.

After candidates' presentations and audience questions have been discussed, the Grove City Women's Club will serve refreshments, and candidates and audience members will have an opportunity to visit and get further acquainted.

Potential write-in candidates will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves if they notify Joan Reckdahl (320-857-2384) before the rally.
