Feb. 12, 2015 - Mildred McCoy, of Litchfield, died Feb. 12. She was born July 18, 1926, and a graduate of Litchfield High School. Millie and her husband, Harold McCoy, opened up "McCoy's Jewelry Store" in downtown Hutchinson. They also lived in California and Washington, until they retired in Cold Spring, Minn., prior to moving into Gloria Dei in Litchfield. Millie would spend her last two years at Emmanuel Nursing Home where she roomed with sister Edith Mackedanz. Her smile and laughter were contagious.

Millie is survived by son, Bruce McCoy of Bothell, Wash.; daughter, Bonnie Swenson (Wayne) of St. Cloud; grandsons, Jeffery Swenson, Scott Swenson, Jeremy McCoy; and granddaughters, Kelly McCoy-Morris's, Jennifer Magiera Quinn; nine great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Harold; daughter, Sherry Jean Otto; granddaughter, Jodi Ann Totuscheck; and sisters, Freda Lundblad and Esther Lindquist. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
