ANNISTON -- Anniston High edged Fairfield 54-49 on Friday in a Class 4A girls sub-regional game. The win clinched a spot in next week's Central Regional for the Bulldogs.

Anniston (20-6) will face Montgomery Catholic on Wednesday in a regional semifinal. Fairfield saw its season end at 4-18.
